A WORD WITH WEBB: NOVEMBER 2024

November already !? Don't even get me started on the election... Is 2024 really almost over? Eek ! So, what's new?

ANNOUNCEMENTS

I've been steadily chipping away at the next short. "Devotion" is the working title and if all goes well, I should be able to finish the animatic within the next few days! Fingers crossed !! Backgrounds and final animation would still need to be done but once I finish the animatic, I plan on sharing a small clip here on the WEBB-HEAD TIER. Maybe the full animatic on the DISTINGUISHED WEBB-HEAD TEIR? Much to think about... It's one of my most visually demanding shorts yet but I'm super proud of how it's coming along so far as a result. Thanks again for the patience as well as the support! In the meantime, have some more scribbles! October proved to be an eventful month and these were some of my favorite pieces from my latest sketchbook.

 WHAT'S WEBB UP TO? 

Well, it wouldn't have been Halloween without a well-timed scare and BOY did my PC give me one last night. It got stuck in a reboot loop after an automatic update. I had tried troubleshooting over FaceTime with a friend of mine but that infamous blue screen was all that awaited us. The remaining options looked grim. I went to bed after deciding there wasn't anything more I could do about it at 1 in the morning. Cut to today, where most of my time was spent runnin' all over Brooklyn to get this old hunk o' junk some much needed repairs. Thankfully all is well now -- but MAN. That was the most anxious I've been in a while.

October wasn't all bad though. I got to see my roommate star in a live recreation of Rocky Horror, held at a gay bar up in Greenwich Village ! Definitely a New York night for the books. I'll also be going to my one and only Halloween party for the year with some close friends. Me and the roomies are going as our own Survivor Tribe. Should be a hit. Wish us luck. Did everyone else have a happy Halloween? Wear some good costumes? Let me know!
