A WORD WITH WEBB: MAY 2024

Howdy, everybody!

Hope y'all have been doin' well! First things first, I'd like to thank all of you for supporting me, old and new! It's incredibly encouraging to keep getting more eyes on my stuff and it's compelled me to take my Patreon a little more seriously! So let's get into it!

WHAT'S WEBB UP TO?

After the briefest of hiatuses, I've been in the process of re-priortizing some of my art goals. Essentially, I'm aiming to maintain my output without burning out, which should hopefully provide more regular Patreon updates moving forward. One of those things is a weekly comic, featuring those cute little critters I had shown a while back. I'll be posting the latest strip to a new collection here on Patreon shortly, so be on the lookout!

In regards to new episodes of So It Goes, I started boarding out some rough thumbnails this morning! I'll be posting that to the FAITHFUL LITTLE FREAKS TIER before ya know it.

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS 

Okay, okay, don't hate me... or you can... it's a free country - BUT... I think I'm gonna be making a change to the DISTINGUISHED WEBB HEAD TIER just one more time. Currently, this specific tier has early video access, your own animated cameo in the next short, along with all previous tier rewards. While the idea of an animated cameo was nice in theory, I'm finding it a little too restricting as far as what kind of narratively driven short I should be making next. To make it up to my most generous supporters, I'm planning instead on physically mailing out a print monthly, consisting of backgrounds from my animated shorts! Examples are shown below!

I think it'd be a much more substantial way of actually giving back to those of you I'm so lucky to be supported by, as well as provide me with a reward option that isn't compromising what I may feel inclined to make a short about next. Please, feel free to comment and let me know what you think! If that sounds like a good idea to y'all, I can get on this starting next month!
