As you might already know, we recently shared the first video in our new series, painting Dwomo Kadan Exemplar. Today, I spent some time in Photoshop, sketching different skin tones for my Dwomo Kadan, using the red base I had already applied to my miniature.

These skin tones don’t strictly follow the Dwomo Kind lore, as my goal with this series is to bring lessons you’d like to see. I will talk more about Era of Providence and it's kinds, and this model of Dwomo is a perfect canvas, ready to take on any painting scheme like the true warrior he is!

Since I sketched these digitally (and our private coaching students already know how that process looks) I decided to record my screen. I was excited to share the digital part of the process with you as well, but unfortunately, the recording stopped after an hour due to lack of storage space. 😅 It took me about two hours to sketch all these skin tones for my Dwomo, but I spent almost an hour on the first one (red) since I was just getting started. xD Then, I sketched the second one (under number one) in about half an hour, followed by the peachy skin tone even faster, and finally the dark violet skintone, which I completed super quickly.

I might be able to do some re-sketching, depending on which one you choose. But whichever option you pick, I’ll use it as inspiration for my next miniature painting video tutorial in the Dwomo Kadan Exemplar series.

I’m eager to continue painting, filming, and editing, but I’ve had a rough two weeks fighting off a virus. First, I had severe stomach pain, and after several tests, doctors couldn’t determine the cause, so they assumed it was a virus. P.S. I’ve heard from a few people that they went through similar symptoms, so stay safe, everyone!

Since my immune system was weakened, a second virus caught me, and I was down for another week. I’m finally feeling better, thanks to Marko taking good care of me, but now the virus has caught him - so this is our third week of trying to fully recover. 😅

In the meantime, I’ve been drawing some cool sketches for #EraOfProvidence, and Marko has been writing more. At least we found the strength to keep working on the things we love, even if painting had to wait or progress slowed down.
