Dear Craftworldians,
We've been on travels for two weeks now, and by the end of this week, we’ll finally be back home!
We both can't express how much we've missed painting minis.
We had planned to paint some while visiting Ani & Andrea at Artisan Guild, but time just flew by too fast. Luckily, we’re fully energized to return home and continue preparing tutorials and working on new projects.
What we did manage to do was write more and conduct more tests for Era of Providence. This time, I (Aleksandra) worked on some new sketches, further developing one of the races. I also created a work-in-progress 2D painting of a Dwomo Noble. Can you see the resemblance between my mini painting and the canvas?

Of course, this piece is only about 50% done. I detailed one eye, even though the painting is still only halfway finished. When it comes to minis, I feel like I have just a bit more self-control—not rushing the process or skipping important steps.
As with everything, practice is the key to magic. I haven’t painted on paper in a long time, but I’m happy with the results so far. More consistency would help me be even more precise, tidy, and, of course, faster in my approach.

Marko, on the other hand, has been managing the artists we commissioned to bring several of the races and characters to life—both in illustration and miniature sculptures. Alongside that, he's been dedicated to expanding the lore and visuals for the game.

With all this in progress, would you be interested in seeing some videos featuring 2D painting alongside our mini painting tutorials? Let us know!

The beginning of February will be a bit slow, as we arrive home on the 2nd. But with this renewed energy, we hope to get back on track in no time.

Of course, before anything else, we need to shower our cat, Sefirija, with all the love we’ve been saving up. No matter how amazing our travels were, we’ve missed our furry boss terribly. We can’t wait to see her!

Cheers, Yours, Aleksandra Cvetanovski and Marko Miladinović
