Hello dear Craftworldians and
Welcome to Part TWO of the Mechanised Heavy Infantry of New Antioch Painting Series!
In this full-process tutorial, I’ll guide you step by step through bringing this miniature to life, with the journey split into three parts, released weekly. Stay tuned for Part Two & Three.
This model is New Antioch Mechanised Heavy Infantry from Trench Crusade! See more HERE!
In Part One, you watched:
I shared my palette and explained the mixes and tonal variations.
Starting with a dark red underpainting over black primer to define the initial textures and volumes.
Crafting the turquoise NMM armor, focusing on nuanced tonal variations to create a grim, weathered, battle-worn appearance.
Adding overlapping layers to establish textures, volumes, and damage on the NMM armor surface.

In (THIS) Part Two, I'll guide you through the process of adding freehand designs, such as the New Antioch symbol and the Serbian Cross with a crown, as well as enhancing the weathered look with rust and dirt effects.
In Part Three, I'll finish off by refining highlights, damages, adding fine details, and painting the NMM machine gun for a different metal look that brings this heavy infantry miniature to life.
