PART 1 - STEP BY STEP MASTERCLASS LESSON - SKIN & BODY

Dear Craftworldians,

Welcome to a new tutorial and lesson. In this tutorial I am painting boxart of the Ironclad Wardancer, bust from Marko Miladinović's line "Era of Providence", that he started creating earlier this year.

Sculpting is still a new adventure for Marko, but I must admit that I definitely enjoy painting his creations and Ironclad Dancer was one more of my favorite busts.

I often trying to find balance with bringing a lessons and tutorials, that you all can learn from, replicate or just enjoy on learning more of the painting process.

Since, we cannot simplify every of our painting in the way we would like to, I decided to create this tutorial in two parts so I can equally commit to bringing this lesson closer, this time teaching you one way of painting SKIN TONES & BODY. Next time, teaching you yet another way of painting NonMetallic Metal.

I hope you will enjoy our newest lesson. I believe that every our tutorial offers a palette of learning options no matter if you are new in Miniature Painting journey, or experienced painter. Everyone can take something new from each of our lesson. And that is our main goal with teaching.

Ironclad Wardancer Bust was available as STL for our Patrons in a month of release. Now, it is available in our PATREON SHOP.

Comments

For the one like in the tutorial, red, blue and yellow. + some brown. More specifically, if scale75 artist range. Prussian Blue + Primary Blue (or ultramarine) + primary red + intense yellow + Burnt Sienna Umber. Of course, if you want to put character in different ambience, consider different colors for underpainting.

Craftworld Studio

Hi, what underpainting colors would you recommend for the Ironclad skin?
