A lot of Zappa's output was rather esoteric. "Yellow Snow/St.Alphonzo's Pancake Breakfast" was one of his few pieces to garner AOR radio airplay. Here is a wonderful live version performed by The Mother's and Dweezil Zappa. Zappa was a control freak who scored every note played and every orchestration. There was no improvisation.
