Updated Engine is Live for Patreon Users
Added 2022-08-18 19:55:08 +0000 UTCIt's taken awhile, but it's now live for our Patreon Users. What is that you ask? The updated engine that we hope will make the game run much faster and smoother on everyone's computer. It also has made the game look better, which was a nice side bonus.
So, we ask you guys to update the game and give it a try. If you run into any problems, definitely let us know. We've tested this updated engine pretty thoroughly, but there are always things we could miss and computer system setups we haven't checked yet.
If you don't know how to get yourself on the Patreon Branch for BoneTown on Steam, then below are the instructions.
1. In Steam, find the icon you use to start up BoneTown.
2. Instead of left clicking the icon, right click the icon and choose Properties.
3. Under Properties, go to the Betas tab on the left.
4. In the Betas window, where it asks you "Select the Beta you would like to opt into:" use the drop down window and select "patreon - Patreon Branch".
5. In the same Betas window, where is asks you "Enter beta access code to unlock private betas:" enter the following password: ImInAMothaFuckinPatreon
6. Now, you might need to restart Steam to force it to update the game, but besides that, you now have the Patreon branch of the game live and will receive new content before the rest of the community.

When you get the updated engine, the old Mods won't work until we have released the game to the whole community and those mods get updated. Right now to fix any issues with mods and the new engine, you just need to delete the mods. We will have the updated engine out soon for everyone and the updating of those mods can begin.
