I hope you’re doing well and that the chilly autumn gloom hasn’t gotten under your skin. October has been a challenging month. During the move, I badly cut my fingers—thankfully, on my left hand, but for someone who works with both his mind and his hands, it’s a serious setback. I even tried to get my wife involved—voice typing, typing with my pinky… Unforgettable, to say the least, but hopefully, a one-time experience! Colds and new viruses are also on the rampage, but I’m holding my ground. Remember to take your vitamins and keep your limbs safe!
But there’s good news, too! I hope you’ll be as pleased with it as I am. Several chapters have been translated, so now you can read a larger portion all at once. I hope you’re enjoying the story, and I’d love to hear a few words of feedback from you.
Right now, I’m also on the lookout for someone to narrate the audiobook for Matabar. Do you have any favorite narrators? I’d love to hear your recommendations!

For English fantasy narration, you can't do better than Travis Baldree--but I gather he has an extensive waiting list, so that may not work for you.

2024-11-26 15:32:07 +0000 UTCI agree but I’m also content to just see the story progressing. Sometimes Patreon feels like extra work for an author and that can slow down the writing. But yeah I wish I could get advanced chapters too.

I feel so much has happened for Ardan but there is so much more to come. I am looking forward to him using magic (Star & the old ways). I also enjoy the more slice of life as he's traveled. The blood brother stuff with the orc was a cool twist in the last Royal Road chapter. I am thankful there are people like you who can weave such an intricate and connected tale that i want to follow and let my imagination and heart get caught up in. thank you. Any area in particular you want feedback?
