Clairvoyant Membership Changes

Effective immediately:

• Mid-month beta builds for Remembrance are permanently cancelled.

• Membership for the clairvoyant tier is decreasing from $10USD to $8 USD due to the cancelled builds.

Clairvoyant members will still have full access to sneak peak content, including an increase in unedited text-only previews (along with the typical preview content you've always gotten, like in progress CGs).

The Reality and Particle tiers remain unchanged.

What about future content?

Any proof-of-concept demos for future content (such as Obsession's DLC: Yandere Monika or Your Life) will be exclusive to Clairvoyant members until they're in a release-ready state. But there's no schedule for that yet.

BUT--!

I know this may be disappointing for some. If you don't feel like the Clairvoyant membership sneak-peek previews are worth the extra money, I completely understand and you are welcome to decrease your membership tier to the Reality tier at $6 USD.

Will mid-month builds eventually return?

I'll never say never... but probably not.

Why the change?

As some of you may know (and lots of you probably don't and that's okay!), a lot has happened in my personal life over the last two years. I've developed multiple health issues, started a new job (last month!), moved and am planning to move again in the next couple of months (if all goes well), family health matters arose, and other more personal significant events that I've mostly kept to myself have impacted my mental health.

With the exception of the (wonderful!) freelance artists and one editor (who's starting this month), this project is a solo endeavor. I do all the writing, planning, programming, scheduling, organizing, builds, debugging, and so on alone.

And unfortunately, it's just too much for me to balance right now. I'm finding myself burning out creatively and I'm not thrilled with the quality of the content I'm producing recently.

Cutting out the beta-builds will give me more flexibility to write/program/plan without delivery pressure and remove some redundant overhead.

Also in general, the mid-month builds only get a few downloads each month. (Typically less than 5 per month!) Which I completely understand, ya'll have lives and the mid-month builds are typically very content-lite.

So of all the changes I could make, I think this impacts the least number of people, gives me some additional flexibility, and saves ya'll a little money.

Possible Patreon pause soon?

As mentioned, I'm hoping I'll be moving within the next month or two (if everything goes well).

The move combined with work is going to take up a chunk of my time, so there's likely going to be a month-long pause sometime in April.

BILLING WILL BE PAUSED DURING THIS PERIOD. (No action is required on your end.) And there will be no monthly build during the pause.

I'll share specifics as things are ironed-out on my end.
