Patreon Paused
Added 2024-09-27 18:32:38 +0000 UTCI have paused the Patreon effective immediately. Hopefully this will be only for a month or two.
As some of you know, I've had a lot going on in my personal life, including some medical issues. I have some tests scheduled for next week and then I'm going to have to work with a doc on medication changes (assuming those tests return fine). All of that has hampered my creativity and energy, to say the least.
I've been trying to work on the game while dealing with these, but it's too much to balance trying to get out monthly builds on top of everything else. I'm not happy with the quality of Brandon's first ending and I don't want to put out something I'm not satisfied with.
On top of that, my slower pace is impacting the artwork for the game, so if I put out a build this week, I'd be filling in a lot of stuff with placeholders, which is more rework for me in the builds, too.
So, I'm just going to take a break on the monthly builds and give myself some time to catch up. I'll still be working on the game behind the scenes, but I'm taking some pressure off myself to pump out deliverables until things are back under control.
What does this mean for you?
Current members will NOT be charged until I resume the Patreon.
FYI 'cause we have some new members. You'll be charged again on your next regularly scheduled billing date AFTER the Patreon resumes.
New members can't join. (Sorry, that's just how Patreon works.)
When I resume the Patreon, I will put out a build within 1 week (because normally I'd deliver a build within the next few days).
