I made this decision sort of on the fly while writing and realized I don't think I ever communicated this change. (Itch page updated.)

It comes up a little bit during Alexander's route, not a major plot point or anything. It will probably be more relevant in side content.

Of course, Alexander's still a greedy pervert with a high sex drive. Just because you can in theory doesn't mean he's going to give you the time of day to do so.

Status

I've made major progress during June and all the writing for Alexander's route is complete & edited! 😁 All that's left is the programming (but that's a lot of programming!)

Alexander's main route will be completed by the end of August at the latest. (Not including any side content.)

This month's release will have 3 endings at a minimum. (All depends on how quick I get the programming done.)

I've started writing a little bit of side content, too. I'll be writing that for a bit before Brandon's route begins.

We have 6 CGs so far for Alexander, 2 of those are in progress now. I think I want to add a couple more but I'm still deciding. Some in side content is possible, too, but won't know that until the writing is done.

Game Length Numbers

Common Route + Obsession abridged + Particles intro = ~61,000 words.

Alex's route is ~62,000 words in total (no side content yet) with 7 endings.

The similar length was not intentional, honestly quite surprised they're so close.

Total of a little over 10 hours of content so far (assuming reading avg 200wpm).

Some napkin math: If each route is ~ 5 hours of content (6 routes + common) then that puts us at 35 hours of main route content for the full game. Add on side content to that and we'll be hitting a ballpark similar length of Obsession roughly (~41 hours). Of course, that's theory, route lengths and ending numbers will vary and it's not including the Particles conclusion.

But conclusion is we're on track for the intended game length. 😍 Yay!

Will there be happy endings?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

I've gotten this question a lot. Some have said whether they play the sequel depends on that answer. So here's my response. (You can choose your level of spoilers in the post.)
