Status Update - Art, NSFW CGs?, BG preview!

I got some awesome news I'm really excited about!

I've just made arrangements to try out two new artists for the game! One will be doing more CGs, including NSFW content! The second will be doing new sprites (with 19 expressions!!!!).

This game has always promised adult-ness, but it's been lacking in the art for two main reasons -

A) There's just so much art needed!  

B) But primarily, the CG artist I hired wasn't experienced with gore & sex, and it showed a little. (They're still awesome and do great work obviously!)

This will bring the game up to 6 artists total: 1 sprite, 2 cg, 3 bg.

I'll be showing off early draft previews in the next couple weeks as I get them.

Couple important notes:

A - Getting all the sprite art done for ALL characters will take a couple months, and then implementing the new expressions will also be time consuming. Those updates will span across multiple releases, but I'll show it off here on Patreon so you don't have to wait.

B - New artists might not always cut it. So far I've been pretty lucky and only had 1 not work out.

What about the script?!

Writing is going great too!

I've put off a couple of these endings for multiple reasons. One is story-based and I won't spoil, but the other is that two of these were the first endings I ever wrote for the game, and they needed some work!

I've rewritten one already and am starting on the second one now. I've already finished the first round of editing on everything else. Hopefully by the weekend, I'll be programming.

And the GUI?

The GUI redesign is my last priority right now. I still think the designs need more work, plus there are screens I haven't yet designed. While I know the current GUI isn't the prettiest, it's still functional.

I've considered hiring a GUI designer, but it's just outside the budget and a low priority. I'll give it a few more tries!
