How do you like that?

So sometimes in this business, the stars align and you can make jump into a opportunity that is so perfect, you wonder how you didn't see it.

Last week, I was talking with another gamedev, someone I have worked with for years now. We traded updates on our work and then they started talking about how they might be able to fill the role of 3d artist for Project ThunderFire.

These two images are just the first two fruits that this cooperation had brought. I am still continuing work with the 2d artists, just to make sure my bases are covered, but it does appear that the 3d artist and I can build something special together and I believe that ThunderFire may be changing from a 2d game to a 3d. It will remain a visual novel, no open world, sandbox stuff. We will save that another time if we are successful.

So yeah, that's really the big thing right now. Still can't believe it, but the art is speaking for itself.

On the writing front, chapter 10 has just been written so it will be edited in the next couple of days. That means there are only 7 more chapters and epilogues to be written. The team is working hard to have a playable chunk available in late April so that you, my Patreon Supporters will get first crack at the game, which now has a new working title that will be revealed soon.

And that's all she wrote. Have a great Friday and a good weekend.

P.S. The next Sunwave Hotel update will be coming in April as well. Some time around April 20th.

Yeah. Or at least, a visual novel that uses 3d renders. You won't be walking around in a space or anything. That would be cool but would add a considerable amount of work to things. But it will still be something brand new and I am excited to share more in April.
