Sunwave Hotel v14.15f - Trial of VN Mode

Hello everyone.

Sorry that this update didn't come out sooner. All December I've been kind of knocked down with a cold and thankfully it is finally starting to leave. This thing has been a menace. I did manage to focus in and finish a bit of a goal I set out on, so that is nice.

The goal was to put together a bit of a Demo for a Visual Novel mode for Sunwave Hotel. This came up because I was reading some feedback that some people were getting lost in the open world sandbox style, so I decided that at the very least, I should put together a model and see what people think.

So this new update called Sunwave Hotel v14.15f has two modes to play. You can play the normal mode as always, but when you launch a new game, you can try out the Visual Novel mode. The VN mode only has a small slice of content, pretty much half of the first island, but it should work as a proof of concept.

Depending on the feedback I get from users here, I will either continue and build the whole game (albeit a bit slimmed down) into the new mode, or I will just keep it as a proof of concept, a lesson for the future.

It's definitely not as easy to implement as I thought, but if there is a need for it, I'll be happy to build it for players who want to enjoy SH's story and content a different way.

Now looking forward, I am hopeful to push out a new update in January that will give us new content. Everyone has been so patient with me, and that has not been missed.

The next content update will have more Zatanka to help close up her storyline, and it should add the mega scenes for Corsoni and Vynore if we're lucky.

In the coming weeks, I'll also be sharing more teasers for the new images and content coming out in the new year for Sunwave Hotel.
