Searching for new RR series - Update

Hi All

First of all for all of the new Patrons , thank you again for your support. For the older ones thank you for your continued support, it is very much appreciated.

Just a quick update , after the last poll i have been reading up a storm and messaging authors on RR to try get permission, this is taking a fair but of time to as i try and read at least 1/3 of a story before i decide if its something i will do. As soon as i have a couple of stories lined up i will start the voting on the order of recording and release. It may still be another couple of weeks , depending on authors responses till the poll.

Also starting in the next couple of weeks i am planning on starting a new video series called Weekly Roundup , or something similar. Where i will have relevant happenings for the channel and updates as well as a top 10 style section for HFY.

Also i am thinking of maybe doing some Public domain sci-fi\horror\fantasy novels , if you have any suggestions for those or for RR and HFY please feel free to send em my way

Regards

Agro

For public domain stuff E.E. Doc Smith wrote the Skylark series and the Lensman Series. I think the early books in each series are in the public domain but the later ones are not. Some of the Edgar Rice Burrows books are also in the public domain (several of the John Carter of Mars stories, and some of the Tarzan stories). I would be a little worried about posting some of the stuff to Youtube these days (mostly I remember the ERB stuff but I was younger when I read EEDS so its possible I just missed stuff) as some of his stories had some pretty serious racist undertone/overtones/content, I always just looked at it as the world was different then and we have changed and grown a lot to get to today but I have to wonder if sites like youtube would look at it in historical context or just say it violates some sort of rule.
