How Valuable Would Early Access to JP-subbed Patreon Content be to You?
Added 2025-02-18 01:36:39 +0000 UTCI’m considering adjusting my content release schedule by giving Patreon members early access to the exclusive Japanese-subtitled versions of my videos before publishing the English-subtitled versions on YouTube. If there’s enough interest, I can prioritize this and adjust my schedule to make it happen. Let me know what you think!

The reason is because if I watch the English version first (which do if it is released first), then I am less likely to watch the Jap-sub one later (redundant, at that point). I'd imagine most people using your videos at this level already have at least an intermediate grasp of Japanese, so we can get by via listening and reading Japanese auto-subs that YouTube provides. But that 2-5% that YT auto-subs gets wrong is what I think we serious studiers/nerds want to make sure we comprehend correctly. Plus, I would hope people who pay you get priority. ;-) . Jack, I hope you make this happen! Thanks so much for providing your awesome videos and great interview style!
