Option 3: It has been implied in the narration that the Kuroinu has been absorbing the bodies and souls of those who've fully turned (aka the other bosses). So it should stand to reason Vult/Kuroinu would bring them back as souless puppets in order to slow/weaken the party. First would be Kuro-Beardsley, then Kuro-Michelle, then Kuro-Grave, and before Vult, we get an Ornstein/Smough situation as we fight both Kuro-Hicks and Kuro-Keanne at the same time. Sound good, ya think?
