Kuroinu News, Its not Good...
Added 2024-05-21 21:49:38 +0000 UTCSo as many of you know or should know THIS YEAR was meant to be the Last year I worked on Game Development for Kuroinu Rebellion. That meant that the game would be done with a Beginning middle and end and yearly updates wont be a thing anymore.
Instead moving forward I would have just updated over time with new pics new routes side quests finished ect more so on my own time rahter then throwing my entire back into the game and stressing over it and such. So instead of having 1 massive update with the next segement of the game it will instead being smaller stuff like character endings, routes, scenes ect over time.
HOWEVER this year has been ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!
Taxes utterly kicked my booty and I had to crunch between Febuary through April requiring a ton of Commissions just so I didnt have to go to Prison, Then I got slammed with Health bills up to Wazoo so been trying to pay that off and Lastly I got hit with so much Credit Debt its Rediculous. So for almost HALF OF THE ENTIRE YEAR I've required to take on so many Commissions just to make up the Diffrences and be able to Eat n stuff.
Because of all that I HAVE MADE SO LITTLE AS HECK PROGRESS ON THE GAME and I hate myself for it.

I HAVE ONLY FINISHED THE OPENING PORTION TO PRIM AND CHLOES SEGMENT....And I got to get That along with the Celestine Route and the Ending done.
THIS ISNT GOOD.
So I have this Poll right here sense you are all the ones with the Power to control what happens. I wish to Skip the Monthly Pics until Further notice to both Catch up on the Commissions AND Work on the Game. So I leave it to you. Should I continue Monthly Kuroinu Rebellion Pics + Others or Not? I also have a "Close Everything" Option meaning I close Commissions, Patreon Rewards, Holiday Rewards, Christmas Requests, everything until the game is Finished.

Yeah but Miyamaoto had about 40+ Peeps to work on a game and he didnt work on a game for 10+ Years lol The problem is I can't move onto far more intresting/fun projects until this is done, Plus I can't send goodies to you guys until its done as well. Don't need beta testers as we kinda play the game and test it out while were making it after all we got to make sure things run like clockwork and granted SOME STUFF always slips through the cracks because when were testing we never really think "Would players do XYZ Dragon Cannon?" Honestly I would like additional Map Creators, Artists, Proof readers, Writers ect.

This is undoubtedly stressing you out but do your best to keep a cool mind. Not only can stress kill imagination and creativity but it lowers morale too. You've been at this for a long fucking time and it shows. I applaud your resolve and work ethic to get Rebellion done and I, along with everyone, thank you for it. Finish line is in sight, don't let life beating you down prevent you from crossing it. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!! Of that, I don't have a fucking doubt in my mind. Charge ahead and win Lionheart, after all, not much further to go from here. And if it feels too big to tackle...then do things one step at a time until it's done. Easier that way in my experience. Those fun masterpieces can wait until the Kuroinu Rebellion game has finally reached it's goals. We the Kuroinu Rebel must keep the pressure on and do our parts to save our lady friends.

I truly believe you should focus on finishing the game but also doing commissions, though maybe you should put a limit number, cause I don't wanna see you getting buried with comms.

While I would like for you to focus more on the game, at the same time I think I can speak for a good number of us when I say we don't want you to put yourself in a tight spot in the process. So, here's a proposal along with my vote; continue on with commissions, but cut down on the Monthly rewards and other polls for now. That way you can still keep some form of income while diverting some of your energy to game development. You've been at this for a while now, and you're nearly at the endgoal, so don't lose focus. None of us want you to end up like Yandere Dev(Minus the controversy, of course) and leave your lifes work in the ether.
