I will say I tend to like these sorts of stories more when the “other side“ is humanized a bit and not just the same kind of generic bad guys as the source material they are inverting/parodying, but with a “holy knight“ aesthetic. But I’ll reserve judgment! it does sound like the story overall is going to be pretty lighthearted.
