I know you are very well in depth on seeing the negatives of the democratic world, but just to break it down to the fundamentals here; which system do you think would be more incline to self-correct and admit fault? It's not Chinese communism nor typical dictatorship. It's democracy. To hit it way closer to home, the assassination attempt on you, in China, would've been wiped from all social media platforms and news outlet if you make those videos and the police would simply give you nothing in response considering the perpetrator's political connections. We, like most lives on this planet are generational beings. Shit takes time and we should simply understand the limitation of one's life time when it comes to changing the world's trajectory. Democracy offers course corrections, however slow it maybe, but at the end of the day, which population of the world are able to critique government incompetence, organise for fair living conditions, and offers more reality aligned historical records? It's not the population from the CCP, it's where you are living in right now. Please give us some respect when offering feedbacks you asked of instead of pre-emptively being snarky when we push back on you opinions slightly. You are right that voters need to take responsibility for their electoral decisions. Democratic government is a mirror to the citizens who voted for them. This doesn't mean the whole system is beyond repair.
