Request Rat: Stereogram
Added 2025-02-01 00:02:32 +0000 UTCFinally, a good request for something cool and gnarly. Someone out there had the decency and wisdom to get me talking about Stereogram, the best thing to come out of New Zealand since Return of The King, which came out the previous year.
These guys kicked so much ass they had to disband after 3 albums because they said all they needed to and it was all this crappy world deserved. This is the realest, punkest, fuckest stuff there ever was. If you don't know Walkie Talkie Man you're a poser who doesn't know shit or piss about music. But nevertheless you'll get a lesson from teacher.
If you have any last minute 20 dollar requests, you better pay the man cause they're going away (the man is me).

I've never seen that music video before, so I thought you photoshoped a band member getting DISmembered to express your disdain for the band as you did for my previous album request. Well, thank fuck you think this band rocks just as much as I do. I only just discovered them last year, so it was interesting to hear from an old fan and how our tastes diverge. I actually prefer the third album over the second. It has a lot of badass and catchy guitar riffs and melodies that you don't find in the other albums. The build up in "Shamoe" gets me hyped every time I hear it. And I guess I just do prefer softer rock. The Pillows is another one of my all time favorites.
