Added 2024-05-01 04:47:56 +0000 UTCHere's a cool game from a thousand years ago that i never played because the magazines lied and said it was bad. What the hell is bad about this game? It's a car combat clusterfuck with wacky cartoon graphics and a monochrome duck named Fowl Mouth. That's a recipe for good game in my book.
I'm not even sure what else to say about it. What you see is what you get. I like the pencil weapon. I like the boxing glove weapon. It's got environmental hazards in the form of aligators and a nice little swamp arena. It's doing everything right, man. I only saw one level, who knows what other happy things this game has in store for me.
Also, it feels good to play. The controls are smooth and Fowl Mouth's little car handles like a dream. It even bends when you turn like a silly cartoon from the old times. Fuck off, Cuphead. Cell Damage did the retro toon thing 20 years ago. But does anyone care? No. Another forgotten gem, disrespected in it's own time. But I'm here to right this wrong. I'm like a superhero, and the Blue Glow is my Batcave.
