I finally found Dudu!

Years ago i abandoned many hours of recorded Witcher 3 commentary because it was too insipid to even listen back to, but now I've found it again and felt like salvaging at least some of it, until I once more lose interest and abandon it for another half decade.

This gameplay was recorded... i don't even know when. But the commentary was recorded in post back in january of 2020. I know because in one part which i cut, i was babbling incoherently about that year's royal rumble. I normally do commentary live during gameplay but for these i just had a bunch of footage taking up space and wanted to put it to use, similar to some of my Dark Souls vids.

So I'm just listening to myself watch myself play, and the me that I'm listening to is steadily spiraling further into madness because i was clearly between chapters in life at this time, and didn't have a controller in my hand to keep me tethered to the task in front of me, which means that what's in front of me now is a chaotic mess of wild tangents that go nowhere, and politically incorrect tirades that are hardly worth the headache of current me having to edit into something listenable. But here i am, doing it anyway, for some reason. You're... welcome?

In the previous episode of this experiment, posted 4 years ago, i was just straight up baking steaks the whole time, which i think must have smoked up the whole house because this episode eventually turns into me choking on fumes and dying. I actually remember my eyes were watering like there was bleach in the air, so i don't know what happened. I must have been cooking bleach steaks.

If you've been around for a while you might remember i actually skipped ahead and finished this playthrough in february of 2021, so chronologically this entire series is completely insane and makes no sense. Decades from now when i'm finally through with all this footage, i'll put it all back together coherently. Here's what i said in that old post entitled Finally Beating The Witcher 3:

Despite being the technical end of the game, i doubt this will be the last you see of this play through. For one thing there's still DLCs to do, and besides that I still have a shitload of lets plays recorded for it. But i listened back to some of those and found them so egregiously insane and offensive to all humanity that editing them into something coherent is a philosophical conundrum i don't have time for right now.

Well i feel the time has come at last for you to hear some of that egregiously insane stuff, and to all humanity i apologize. This is the commentary of a lost man with a dilapidated soul, but here i have painstakingly whittled down and chipped away at it to reveal, if not a diamond in the rough, at least a dime's worth of entertainment. To put that in perspective, the video clips i was commentating over were all 60 minutes long, and this episode is now 10 minutes long. I saved you from a full 50 minutes of Hell.

Anyway, at least I found Dudu.
