I don't know too much about this franchise as a whole but i can tell you one thing about this one. The 0 stands for 0 fucking gameplay. This is not a game. It's a visual novel where occasionally you have to follow a slow moving jackass down the street to the next crappy, voiceless collection of static cut scenes. People love this series. People are wrong.

I have, for some reason, every single Yakuza game on my ps4. Maybe there's one or two new ones i don't have, these games replicate like tribbles. I have at least 7 of the fucking things and i don't remember buying any of them. So far they've just sat there unplayed because every time i try to play one I'm bored to death before anything that can be described as gameplay actually begins.

But since people never shut up about these i was finally forced to give it the old college try. I don't know or care which one is the best or the worst, i just started with what seemed to be the canonical first. I don't know what I'm doing, nor does it matter. Games like this are my hell. The women in the thumbnail is making the exact face i was making every time a cutscene led directly into another, even less animated cutscene.
