WRESTLING! Return of The Punker (WWE Edition)
Added 2023-12-01 05:43:29 +0000 UTCI completely forgot about Survivor series, only to be informed by a cacophony of clock people that it is once again clobberin time. I forgot these things are on Saturday now and i was instead nose deep in that most shameful of acts, watching another man's youtube video. In my defense, it was a good video, which is extremely rare.
Despite not having willingly subjected myself to social media in about half a decade, i was, within minutes of Punk's name trending, assaulted with a barrage of spoilers by multiple people and even the user interface of Peacock itself.
Well whatever, despite not getting the full surprise of the moment, Punk merely appearing and smiling goofily while Seth Rollins calls him a motherfucker in the distance was still the best thing that's happened in wrestling since the last time Punk returned earlier this year, and the other time he returned before that.
What a gimmick, this guy is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be at beating people up backstage and getting fired before showing up somewhere else to make even more money. Smartest worker in the business.

I had a watch party with some of my wrestling buddies and we kept joking about Punk showing up in random spots during the ppv. We lost our shit when he appeared. Some sighed, some cried, some died inside. But I was smiling ear to ear. The King is back, baby.
