I was gonna be cool and post this on the 4th of July but then instead i decided to give up on life entirely and go on a 2 week bender. I would like it to be an infinite bender, but unfortunately i still have to post on here and do this shit.

This is First Blood, aka Rambo 1, the realest, most American, and most Real American movie of all time. Watching this should be everyone's independence day tradition, to remind us of an ideal. Man's search for independence, aka being left the fuck alone, in a corrupt society that refuses at every turn. The life of John Rambo must never be forgotten, it must be internalized and tapped into as an ever-burning fuel toward acts of civil disobedience.
The only reason i'm even sitting here writing this is my cunt neighbor is skulking around outside and i don't want her even fucking looking at me. Otherwise i'd be outta here doing what i'm meant to do. Wandering around aimlessly and getting into trouble. Evading the cops. Surviving by any means necessary. Turning the tables on my attackers. Running around blastin, and striking back at a society that only judges and disrespects me. Just being me in my own space, ya know?
Fuck this. I got nowhere to be but if i did, it wouldn't be here. So adios.

The thing I love most about the movie is that Rambo doesn't really give in to his bloodlust and directly kills anyone. At least I don't remember. Anyway, the point is that John's a good boy! He nor the audience gets the cathartic, wish fulfilment ending of killing the antagonist. He doesn't even die by his own hand or anything. It ends with Rambo opening up, talking about his trauma, and finally being able to be vulnerable with someone who doesn't hate his guts. The movie opens with him looking for a friend and he finds one at the end. *chef's kiss* Friendship. That's what First Blood's all about, Charlie Brown.
