Final edits + moving on

Hey everyone! "Recently" I made a post about how I've been busy with going through the edits to Taste in preparation for its release. I've completed those edits by now and have sent them back to the editors, and as far as I'm aware, that'll be the last step before the final inspection and layout. I went and did an extra run-through this last time just to make extra certain I didn't miss anything.

The final numbers on this story bring it up to 24 chapters and about 114k words. As I said before, the very first original draft that y'all read here and in my galleries was 18 chapters and 67k - and for reference, my second project wander came to 30 chapters with 127k, and then my most recent project Unexpected, Undeserved ended up at 26 (plus an epilogue) and 120k. So, about average! I guess the first version was just super short.

With that done I'm finally sliding back into my queue, which has, uh.... expanded in the month I've been busy. I've tried to put in little approximation dates for when I'll be able to work on what, knowing how I usually tackle my schedule, but even so those are still just approximations and will likely be updated and moved around as I work. As usual, I'll be doing my thing where I do something on my list and then take a step back to work on a personal thing, which in this case will either be some one-off ideas I've come up with, or finally getting more chapters on Heart of the Forest done.

Other than that! Some of y'all took notice with that one extreme batch of Kinktober story sketches I put up and messaged me privately. I've been mostly trying to keep these two accounts separate for a few reasons, but most of y'all have been here supporting me for quite a while, so I trust y'all: I do indeed have a nastier alt account specifically for that type of content, and I am planning to keep it (somewhat) regularly updated. If that's your thing, please go check it out here - and if it's not, then shhh 👀 I know for a fact that some of you guys watch both accounts already, but I'm not sure if you know it!

Anyway, up next on my list I've got the next installment of Housebreaking to do, which might be kind of a long one. The client gave me some inspiration a while back.
