Sci-fi action story post, part 1

I dunno if I've shared this one here yet, but! It's the first of a probably two-part story requested by someone who has since dropped his Patreon pledge. I still owe him a second story, and since that's coming up next in my queue, I thought it'd be good to look back through this again and show it to you guys!

I've wanted to write sci-fi stuff for a while now, and looking back through this, I'm pretty proud of what's happened here.

Basically! Kobaj, ship repairman, is personally tasked by his captain to do some repairs on the ship's main AI system, but he finds something pretty fucky hidden deep in the workings of his thing. He brings it to his friend Serathano, who's somewhere between "techno bandit" and "mysterious adventure mogul" for help and advice, but things go quite sharply south, and soon Kobaj is fleeing through the maintenance halls of the spaceport his ship is docked at with technically-stolen Federation technology under his arm and the intergalactic police force chasing him down.

I've also finally found a good program for ebook formatting, so I'm gonna work through my older collections and reupload and rerelease those, so they're not in super shitty .pdf format anymore. Also looking around to get a cover artist for #4, Hounded, and once I clear up my queue a bit, I'm gonna start getting things ready for #5...
