A different kind of video, this time I recorded it instead of using the timelapse function. I sped the video to 3x. The video is 1h20 long. You can speed up the video up to 2x on vimeo if it's too long.

PS: I'll answer any technical question here if you have some :D.
Don't hesitate to timestamp so I can see what you are talking about.

Thanks for the insight! I never thought you would say "Anatomy bores me" when your anatomy has so much depth! 💀 I never fully considered acting out my poses before a drawing, think I'll start and see if it helps 🤔

It's mix of observation and how physically you are able to execute your gesture, we are all different. It is important to understand how you see things and how your body limit they way you draw it. Some artist are good at reproducing the exact things naturally. But the way I do things is mostly due to the limited gesture I can have. Relying on those limit just shaped the way I do the anatomy. Visualizing is a matter of learning anatomy the theory and memorizing shapes you like in a body. I put more emphasis on memorizing shapes I like since most of the learning Anatomy bores me.

Have any practical training methods to visualize anatomy the way you do? I understand it comes with time and practice, but what’s a practice you do to learn/stay sharp?

Hard to say, usually It’s random for the hue on the nipple, I guess the lighter is the skin tue pinkish I go so it doesn’t clash too much. And browish/dark pink when skin is darker. For the gland and hole I usually just color pick the color around make it pinker and desaturate a bit so it’s not too flashy.

How do you decide how pink, or red to go for nipples, hole, glans? Is there a reddish, skin flush filter that you use to represent blood flow from arousal in checks, peen, etc?

Usually I know from the beginning where the part is going to shine and glow the most. So in the flat color I make the value of that area lighter first. So it's stay light all the along the way. And the to make it glow i like using a "add glow" layer in clipstudio. this will saturate and blow out the colors. But recently I want to preserve colors, so I use the Screen layer instead. It doesn't blow up as much but it help retain the colors.

What is your favorite way to do a “glowing” effect?
