An Ironsworn asset pack that allows you to play the story of fantastical heroes in a highly magical setting, emulating the dungeoneering and dragon-killing stories of old.
Vaults & Vows reworks the character creation and progression mechanics: it offers a more structured subsystem for customization, allowing you to have a more archetypal role in the world.
When you create a character, choose three assets: an ancestry, a background, and a class base. As your character progresses, their class specialization will be represented with a class path and they will acquire magic items along the way.
Vaults & Vows provides a total of 106 new assets:
- 9 ancestries to determine your character’s capabilities based on their heritage from past generations
- 13 backgrounds to reflect your character’s life in a time before becoming a hero
- 71 class assets to constitute the main way in which your character performs extraordinary deeds. These are divided into 11 class bases and 60 class paths
- 13 magic items to seize the supernatural in a tangible way
- Full-color art nouveau style illustrations
