No Story This Week!

Hello, my lovelies! While we have a couple of flashfics this week, it’ll have to be an off-week for the chapter stories, as the editing for the next chapter of The Gooed Girl is taking a bit longer than expected and I have to throw out a fair amount of work. I made some mistakes, it happens!

Next week, I’ll be quickly pivoting to work on some small commissions and maybe trying to get the Senya/Mothgirl Rose Gallery written and posted!

Overall, my levels of productivity have been fantastic lately. I think I’m trying to bury myself in things that aren’t news and doomscrolling. I’ve been working on a lot of projects and taking very few days off (including working into my weekend last week—oops!), and it feels good to keep a steady pace about things. I’ve also figured out a method for editing that is much more in-step with my writing output, which is why we get flashfics this week!

Pay attention, but only to stay informed, not to stay entertained. I think a lot of people tell themselves they’re doing the former when they’re actually doing the latter. Don’t turn the news into true crime.

Go watch a Ghibli film. Read pet by Akwaeke Emezi or The Marvellers by Dhonielle Clayton. Binge that webcomic you’ve been putting off (it’s probably Kill Six Billion Demons, but I’ve been loving Little Tiny Things lately).

Or try out a new TTRPG! Ryuutama, Stewpot, and Wanderhome are super cozy and cute, while Pathfinder 2e, Lancer, and Beacon are fantastic games on the crunchier side of things.
