What We're Watching: Loki Episode 4 — "The Nexus Event"

You are correct, I think. Sylvia will not make it out alive, but Loki will have learned how to care for her. And since this is a time travel movie, my prediction is that he will rescue young Sylvie and send her to Earth for her protection. She will become the Young Loki who joins the Young Avengers in a few years (the twins from WandaVision, Hawkeye’s Kate Bishop, Ms Marvel, etc, are all setting up for that and young Sylvie will be the next piece on the chessboard. That is what I think.

I was very much thinking Blade Runner too there. Seemed far too similar.

I may be reaching, but B-15's scene with Sylvie in fron tof Roxxcart, feels like a Blade Runner reference, the "tears in rain", and how it's the enlightenment of B-15 as she starts to question her own being. It may be a reference it may be not, but it made me think.

Graphotactics. The pronunciation of Ravonna is counterintuitive in regards with graphotactics, not grammar. And yes, it bugs me too.

Two things: 1. I think it really goes to Trisha’s point about the midpoint that the name of the episode is called “The Nexus Event”. 2. On the subject of Ravonna and Mobius: I think that moment you guys said is missing in their relationship, has already happened. We just don’t know it yet. If I had to guess, it’s the moment in Episode 2 where Mobius picks up the pen with “Franklin D. Roosevelt High School” on it, and he asks what mission it was from, which Ravonna avoids. I think her memory is still fully in tact, and she remembers her past, which I also think Mobius and her shared. Which is why she says they have a bond, despite that not being very clear. Maybe I’m having a Mephisto moment here lol, but I think that pen is way too important for it to be brought up, and never resolved like that.
