About the Studio HDRI Vault
Added 2025-07-02 12:46:29 +0000 UTCOne of the most requested types of HDRIs we hear about are studio lighting setups, and based on our download statistics, they are also some of the most downloaded relative to how few we have available.

While it’s true that for serious projects you probably want to light your shot manually, sometimes you just want a quick lighting preset to make your project look good with very little effort, or to start with a template to build upon, or just to preview your shading work. Or maybe you don’t know what sort of lighting you want, and you just want to play around and explore the possibilities.
HDRIs shot in a real photography or film studio are great for this, so we decided to work with some of our regular HDRI contractors to create some, along with Alexander Scholten who has donated many HDRIs to Poly Haven in the past.
All together we created 61 new studio HDRIs, almost tripling the total on the site.
The Studio HDRI Vault is currently available in early-access to all $3+ Patreon supporters, and is set to release publicly once we reach 3100 active Patreon supporters.
To access the HDRIs, simply log into polyhaven.com with your Patreon account, and you'll be able to download them. They are also already available through our Blender add-on.
