UNREAL ENGINE | BLENDER | UE ASSISTANT Add-On | How to Animate the UE5 Skeleton in Blender

In this video, I want to introduce an addon for Blender that I’m developing to make working with Unreal Engine much easier.
You no longer need to manually set measurement units for Unreal Engine or worry about typos — it's now just one click! This same button also automatically sets the render distance, saving you valuable time.
Another handy feature is the ability to clear the entire scene with a single button press, which is especially useful for learning or experimenting with new workflows.
When it comes to animation, it’s a challenging topic. Those who’ve tried working with animations in Blender know what I mean.
This addon is designed with future-proofing in mind: it doesn’t matter which skeleton you’re using. You can add any template with a configured rig, simply by providing a .blend file with the rig.
Currently, the addon includes one template for Manny from Unreal Engine 5 (created by Infima Games — thanks to them for their amazing work!).
In the future, I plan to add:
Templates for Unreal Engine 4 skeletons and Metahuman.
A more convenient way to add templates directly through the addon's panel.
Import and export of meshes and animations, taking into account all Unreal Engine specifics.
And much more!
You can already see a demonstration of the animation in the video — everything works as expected.
