I’ve started working on the cave area of the Copperdale Festival, and it’s coming along nicely! 💎 I’m using some live edit rocks that don’t fade out when you zoom in (yay for atmosphere!), but I’m debating whether I should push the overhead coverage even more. The only hesitation is that it might get a little annoying to navigate with Sims in a tight space. 🤔
The goal is to turn this area into more of a crystal cave, so next up:
Adding crystal clutter 🌟
Creating some custom flooring (because the default grass? Not it. 🙅♀️ Thinking something more rocky or textured!)
Polishing up a pre-opened portal to one of the secret base game worlds 🔮
Also realized that one of the festival games I talked about in my last update doesn’t work well for kids due to how their skills function — so that needs a rework too. 🙃
And finally... this dang festival still doesn’t have a name! 😅
