April Preview

The dorkfactory is taking a trip through alien land. This is the first of a handful of related ideas for a ravenous alien swarm faction. Right now there are about half a dozen ideas planned but given how fun they are to make, who knows, it may become the first faction to be fully completed...

Start Printing Bundles...

Since DF models usually fit into a handful of factions but they don't necessarily get released back-to-back via patreon, I've started grouping sets together and uploading them to MMF for discounted bundles in a given faction. This is the first of those sets and more will show up.

The Dread Army includes 5 sets at a little over 10% off the cost of buying them separately. When you consider the 30% patron discount though, things get interesting. I'm hoping this will be useful to people who want to collect a given faction but missed models during their release months on patreon. It's also just fun to print out a big blob of dudes and take pictures!

The collection can be purchased as printable STLs via MMF, but also, the awesome people at only-games.com helped me set this bundle up to be purchased as printed minis! If you want to skip printing these models and get them straight onto the tabletop, please check out this page.

Free bases!

I've been wanting to make some nice bases for a long, long time. The start printing bundle was the perfect excuse to go for it. These bases (the same as you see pictured above) are free to download and print! Currently there are 32mm, 50mm, and 100mm bases, but more sizes will be added over time.
I hope they come in handy :)

This image is more of a sneak peek. This is a scale test I did for the upcoming model. It's not as far along as the preview in the beginning of this newsletter but I wanted to include it just to show that he's BIG!
