Greetings, fellow nerds, how've you been??

I've got some previews, an overall progress report on the body stealers, and some truly mind blowing fan makes to show.

Work-in-progress Preview for Next Month

This time around I'm working on my first ever vehicle (unless you count mech suits). I'll admit, I really had no idea what I was doing at first but eventually It clicked and I'm really getting into this model.

You'll notice a couple modified dudes on the back as well as the 90% brand new pilot model.

I still have a lot more detail I want to add. The back and bottoms areas need more attention, the dudes need to be posed better, and I need to do some cloth simulation for the flags, but it's getting close! I'll do a proper preview before the month is over. Hope you like it so far. 

The Body Stealer Cabal

So you've likely noticed I'm on a theme lately. I currently have 3 more sculpts planned for it (4 if you include the upcoming vehicle) and it might expand beyond that. It'll eventually be almost twice the size of this army but I couldn't resist busting 'em out and taking a look at the full lineup so far.

None of them are completely finished (some aren't even glued together yet heh heh), but I'm very happy with the vibe so far! The next few months will make this horde pretty formidable -- at least I hope!

Community Prints!

More and more of people's amazing printed projects keep popping up! This month I'm mostly going back to older stuff people shared with me on Instagram but I'll get around to sharing everybody's awesome work eventually ;)

First up we've got @ud.agrul's Cyber Junkie. Max does a lot of narrative scifi projects with cool scenery and also has an excellent sense of humor. Honored to have a model among his probably gigantic mini collection.

Next is @sons_of_suchos' AMAZING Maternal Guardian. As far as I know this is the world's first painted maternal guardian and I love it. The image on the right with the overlays is taken from an awesome animation created by sons_of_suchos (couldn't get it in video format, sry!). Great work!

Now this one is from a while back but I gotta say it's one of the best-painted squads of miniatures I've ever seen. Nightmare Craft Studio does some absolutely amazing conversions AND paint jobs. This is a serious grand slam hobby project... and it's not even the best Dorkfactory mini this guy has painted (I'm saving the second one for next month).
