Hello from the Dorkfactory,
September has been a very productive month so far! In addition to 2 sets of regular monthly models, six 15mm models for Ill Gotten Games' Pocket Tactics strategy game will be out soon as well. Here's a look at everything in the works at the Dorkfactory.

These worshipers of strange, uncaring cosmic entities have elected to contribute their life energy to power the Dread Gateway.
These models still need to be posed but are fully sculpted. They'll be in various states of pathetic frailty and hooked up to tubes that transfer their life essence to a strange and horrifying living gateway...
These will come out in a BIG set (shooting for 10 variations), but I'm gonna post a free sample as well cause I'm a little bit enamored with how they turned out and I really want to see how people paint them and what tabletop uses they come up with for them.

Forced against its will to use its bizarre teleportational abilities for a dark cult, this strange creature's only solace is a constant supply of food in the form of willing sacrifice. This entity of unknown origin can transport any object to either a place so distant that communication and astronomical technology cannot locate it, or, as those in the cult speculate, entirely different planes of reality.
Plenty left to do on this model but it's taking shape! This one is gonna be HUGE. I've been slowly shooting for larger and larger designs and this month I'm continuing that trend. For the first time, I'm going to have to release this in large, hollowed out slices so it's printable on the average resin printer's build plate.

This set of 6 sick undead minis was my first foray into 15mm models. It's a really fun scale to work at! They're so tiny you're not even ALLOWED to cram detail like I usually like to do, so you quickly make gestural shapes, do a little refining and before you know it you've got an entire faction of minis on your hands! Another cool restriction was that these guys needed to be designed to print on FDM machines with no supports. SUPER FUN posing these guys in ways that connect to lower parts of their bodies don't create overhangs. Really fun process, I hope to work at this scale again in the future.
Another cool thing I learned from working on this project is that Pocket Tactics is a really fun, quick and easy to learn game! I've played a few factions via Tabletop Simulator so far and it's been a blast every time. Really excited to see the stat cards for the new undead dudes when they come out. Ill Gotten Games will be releasing them as part of their kickstarter, and when that happens dorkfactory patrons in the Lord of the Land tier will get them as well!
So that's what's on the horizon at the Dorkfactory. If you've got thoughts or questions please comment below! Very much looking forward to releasing next month's two sets on the 1st of October.
See you all soon!
Thanks from the Dorkfactory
