Starting Over, Burnout, Creative Block, etc...

To those of you who have stuck with me for the last few months through total inactivity on my part, I really appreciate you, reading your messages and comments really helped.
To those who have left, or are frustrated, or angry due to my absence, I think it is well deserved, you are right to feel that way, I shouldn't have abandoned my patrons like this, and I hope that I will be able to produce new content that will win you back.
Starting back in summer I began to have some real creative block coming up with new ideas for scenes. I have tried to provide new experiences, new features, and new stories with every scene; on the bright side, I think I've made some pretty cool stuff, but it also completely burned me out.
I have run into a couple of roadblocks the last few months, including being banned on VAMHub, and losing some data temporarily, but frankly, I should not have let these honestly pretty minor annoyances get to me like they have. In short, I really just have felt burned out, and that I can't make this a financially viable endeavor, so I felt less and less inspired to try to go back with every passing month.
With that being said, after experiencing a sudden bout of inspiration, there will be a new release this month, OOYD3, which has been stalled for months. Please check Discord (which has been cleansed of bot spam), if you would like to see some screenshot previews. I will also release content patches for Dominion and QClub, mostly just extra animation states. The next full scene will be in the Beast series.

I feel your frustration around the VAMHub. more and more they are weeding out the creative freedoms of the very people that help catapult them to the level they are now. As a fellow creator my content has also stirred the pot a little and i have become a target as well. while i haven't been banned yet i am certain its just a matter of time at this point because i will not bend to their demands to access to content outside of the hub. I will edit my content that's posted to the hub to play nice with their TOS in order to try and prevent a ban but i don't think this will satisfy the mods there. I am thinking of creating a secondary HUB like place where content is not censored so unfairly and provide a place for more niche content creators to post their content. I feel the hub has just become far to over reaching in its policies and that they need some kind of reality check when it come to content moderation. would be interested to hear your thoughts on this and the thoughts of your followers. Oh and my creator name is Hexenv88 I'm not new to VAM and the hub and have been around long enough to see its evolution.

2024-12-12 23:00:07 +0000 UTCi can empathise with running out of ideas for making new stuff. ive had similar bouts when making vids myself if it makes it any easier, im pretty sure that most viewers probably wont mind if you occasionally use older ideas in new contexts rather than forcing everything to be original in every sense
