The making of Paradise (Production Reaction)

Hi I am not offended I don’t think our comments are contradictory maybe just on the surface. But your comment made me think. Why the self-written lyrics or tunes are so important. Many songs are dear to my heart (kpop or others) and I don’t even know the words or the process they were made. I just use it to feal better to do housework or get pumped for going out. Thinking of BTS songs I like that they write their own stories into the lyrics I think bc I am connected to them as ppl and I want to know more about them. I am not just a consumer I am a friend to them as they are one to me. Being an Army is a deeper connection. I found kpop 4 years ago I was and still am on a health journey I hated cardio I got unbearably bored on a treadmill. 3 minutes was my top not even bc I got tired just frustrated to no end. Kpop helps my mind to be occupied and now thanks to Jim I know why. :D All kpop bands music I am listening to is layered produced with a lot of things happening: countermelodies or rhythm changes that keeps me engaged. (I am sure there are many that are not on this level those just dont make my cardio playlist.) And of course, the k pop aspect the polished MVs that you can watch countless times and found new things, live productions ect. After getting into this genre I found BTS and they have all this and much more. I am personally invested in them as human beings if they stop producing music and go into, I don’t know knitting I will still tune into their content. I am not sure I formulated my thoughts eloquently. Kpop opened me for new genres, and then BTS gave me friends and encourages me to be better. It is a lovely side effect! Borahae!

I would give anything to work with BTS. Even if it was just a simple melody

sorry i just read your comment after i wrote mine. i did not mean to disrespect your opinion on kpop at all. this is just my personal opinion. but to me BTS is diffrent because i know how involved they are in their music. many are not, like BP for eksampel

ha ha lol i didn´t se that video before how cool it must have been to discover who bts is and how big they are. i think the reason for that is media expose in the US. but also bts songs never gets listen to by producers only by chance on yt. and i can imagine producers even get a shamed working with a korean boyband. but not anymore. BTS have got a good reputation now and producers know who they are, and they are respected as artists. i think that´s why they got a grammy nom in the first place. they know BTS is writing their own song and is highly involved and choose what songs they want. i hope kpop songs and labels dont start getting grammy´s unless it´s personal self written songs. because kpop music to me is very plastic and mass produced that does not deserve a grammy. i like the idea of the grammy even if i know they might be corrupt

I hope you see this thanks to you I can explaine why BTS songs are so good! So ppl who are degrading kpop like plastic music hear something inteligent back. (not just my frustration!) I am educated to tell them why songs are touching you without understanding the spoken words. All the technical stuff you told us during streams gave me an understanding and can help others to get over their prejudice! Thank you!
