Part two... Some trainees and idols have a ban on dating... BTS does not. Warren G was great in this episode - he could have been nasty and made fun of their nerves, but he encouraged them really well the whole way. They were so shy and embarrassed, I kinda felt bad for them too, but you're right it did make good viewing. Remember too, poor Kookie was only 16 here, an awkward age for anyone. The guys were so respectful to the girls - it is really sweet to see. It is something that really seems unique to these guys - they are the same way with everyone they meet. I often see footage of them stopping to help out and always thanking staff, even now. Agree that much of this show is pointless and exploitative - but it is really interesting to see what they chose to take with them from the experience - they took the knowledge they learned from their teachers, the respect they shared with Warren G as musicians and people (even with his misguided video), the charity and giving back, their concert memories. and of course "Confidence, Confidence"...... So glad They didn't take on further HipHop style of video or the arrogance and ignorance of Coolio and Dante.

2022-02-04 09:48:51 +0000 UTCThey basically taught them what exactly *not* to do in order to be successful as themselves... ;) Don't worry, you won't see any of those "skills" in future BTS videos... I still think it's important to watch American Hustle Life at least once as an ARMY because it's part of their history. Also, it still shows a lot of the boys' personalities and relationships, also through the ways they cope with those stupid challenges. (By the way, I'm not sure that you know that they were actually recording their album Dark & Wild during those two weeks in LA as well!)
