I also feel like jungkook told namjoon to try and stop coolio from making tae do push ups because tae's arm was already injured. You can't see it here or during the previous episode, however in the next scene after he finishes the push ups, he's wearing a cast. I think he was trying to recover from an old injury and was slowly overcoming it until this happened. He wears it every now and again during the next few episodes.. it's not noticeable as it keeps being taken off. It's strange because no one in the show addresses it?? So i'm not sure what happened. I think that the whole vibe of the show changed once PD Bang was alerted to the goings on. Coolio was a huge douche to begin with - but who knows what he had been told about them beforehand. By the end of it I think even he couldn't begrudge how talented and hardworking they are. It could also have been the producers wanting him to act a certain way. (he was the nominated hard-ass?) Regardless by the end of his time there he started treating them all with more respect.
