It should not be weird to say anyone is adorable, no matter their gender, and shouldn’t need any caveats like “I’m straight” or whatever.
This is one of the things I love about them is they are showing a different standard of how to be loving and caring to each other as men and also that gender norms of fashion and whatnot are stupid and arbitrary. As a mother to sons their ages who are also openly affectionate with their friends, I am proud of this generation and the work they are doing to heal the world, and toxic masculinity in particular, in this way. It brings me great joy to witness.
And also….they’re fucking adorable.

puppies are not far off when this is direct quote from one of the interview articles about them 'Though they're unfailingly polite and attentive in interviews, there's a certain amount of contained chaos when they're all together — a sort of tumbling-puppy cyclone of playful shoves, back slaps, and complicated handshakes — but also a surprising, endearing sweetness to the way they treat one another in quieter moments. When a question is posed to the group, they work hard to make sure each one of them is heard, and if someone is struggling to find a word, they'll quickly reach out for a reassuring knee pat or side hug.'

hope you will be looking into the bonus content from past episodes too, while deleted content is literally usually that, extended scenes and things that didn't fit, bonus content is just fun content from around the time of the episode, good way to get to know the guys better

I had to do the hurry up and wait game for years for an entirety different thing, but yeah it sucks. Spending time with friends like BTS would have made it so much better!

BTS remind me a lot of Queen - they never stay static - their music always evolving.
The following links will not affect your BTS journey - they are side collabs you will not get on their albums - BUT you have to see these - they are legendary for ARMY and some of the best performances by BTS and Seo Taiji.
The closest BTS have come to metal - Seo Taiji feat. BTS - Classroom Idea live at SEOTAIJI 25 TIME : TRAVELER 2017 [ENG SUB] [Full HD]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=co0FZyu4_2Y
PLEASE REACT TO THIS - YOU WILL LOVE IT.
Seo Taiji and Boys were the OG of the K-Hiphop scene. Sao Taiji was a huge influence in the boys and the topics they chose to address. This opportunity to collab with him in 2017 was so exciting for the guys - he is their idol.
YOU WILL THANK ME LATER
Check out also their collab with Seo TAiji on Come Back Home
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moalW-ar2Jg and their cover of Come back home https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dYxgPGfjkg .... this song is one of my alltime favourites by BTS even tho it is a cover.
all have eng subs.

Just went and checked on youtube - yep - that was the type of music I was into (PS - they were good). Best metal concerts I went to were Iron Maiden and a bunch of indie metal bands that would play in basements and clubs across sydney. I also really like Rammstein and Leo Morrichioli. But that said - I do have eclectic music tastes - my favourite ever concert was sitting in the 3rd row of Pavarotti's last Sydney show - what a voice!
Somehow I don't know if a metal boyband would ever be taken seriously in the west -if you know what I mean.... too much machismo in the genre.
You must check out J-Metal the japanese heavy metal scene is insane.
3 bands for you to check -
Wagakki Band
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ponTbDDMYjw and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_xTet06SUo
BabyMetal
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIKqgE4BwAY ,
Ningen Isu (brilliant OG Jmetal band but they still rock harder than the young ones.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbI79e5iZKs ,
Also check out the Mongolian Heavy Metal Band - The HU. They started out on youtube and are now the opening act for Slayer( If you are into metal you know who Slayer are!)

Love the behind the scenes extra content. And yes the appeal beyond the music and messages is their friendship and personalities. They are raw and authentic and don’t feel scripted (except of course when they are scripted and usury that’s for things like Run BTS skits and is the funniest stuff I’ve ever see ). They share a side with us that makes us either reminisce or envy but enjoy their friendship. I think it’s the foundation of their success they are a support and comfort to each other, they encourage and motivate, they navigate the unknown and the difficult often with a sheer amount of laughter that is amazing (really they laugh so much together how can you not love them). Sometimes I wonder if they are really artists/musicians or comedian is their true calling. I find them utterly endearing and adorable and they remind me of my own teens so your comments made total sense to me.

I was in a handful of projects in my teens and early 20s. Stryk Nine was one of my last ones. The funny thing is some of the reps that would scout us wanted to make us into a metal boy band.

That is a brilliant video but I think it has too many spoilers. I was debating suggesting it. I hope he will watch it later on his journey.

It was this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj0rOUWXfTw by a public speaker. The sharing of the bond was in this one. my bad.
The psychologist is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PecB3RAY6pM&t=235s As a psychologist myself I agree half of his points, he missed the vulnerability they portray. His analysis is from the outside without the intimate knowledge ARMY has.

Is that the one by Dr JiYoung Lee?

Quick question - if it's ok to ask - what band were you in?? - rock, metal and indie was my main interest before BTS, (and I'm just nosy!!) .

Thank you for sharing this with us. The bonus content is a treat Aneesha gives us thats guarateed to make us laugh.
The guys have spoken about the importance of enjoying the journey - not just striving towards the goal. They seem to enjoy themselves, even though they work harder than anyone I know of. ... I hope you have enjoyed becoming one of the ARMY, you have got a lovely community of ARMY around you to help guide you up to speed. Suzy is truly heaven sent!
TaeHyung this morning on Weverse sent us all a post with a beautiful picture of the stadium lit up for their concert at SOFI with the caption
"Bangtan and ARMY are walking on a beautiful flowery path."
How can we not love them, as you said they are adorably wholesome, and our world desperately needs people like this with a platform that can influence others in such a positive way..

I watched an interesting vid about the bond ARMY has with BTS. The psychologist brought up exactly this effect you just experienced. They are adorable and they have a strong bound. Us watching them goof around being close activates the same brain pathways. A lot of ppl make great music, are handsome or adorable, but what they show us is something we all yearn for. The closeness and having each other’s backs… the trust they have in each other is special. We are bounded to them being ARMY is not just being a fan of there music or massages, it’s like being part of something bigger.
