Yeah but as painful as a pierced cheek is it’s not the same as all those deep cuts to the chest. I have been getting tattooed recently I know it’s not the same thing but I can’t help but feel bad for him. This is something that could have been done with make up.

I know so many people say he's so brave for suffering for his art, but that's basically self harm and sometimes I'm just really concerned for him you know? You can still see those scars on him today. As a fan I'm just both very impressed and very sad.

However, he did have them at the reshoots a year later (that‘s also when they filmed the piano version). And since you can still see the scars on his arms to this day, I‘m quite sure he did actually cut himself, the madlad. I mean, he pierced a hole through his cheek for „Ich tu dir weh“, so we know he is just ready to endure pain for his craft. Anyhow, I‘m so happy you checked out this making of! I think it just makes you appreciate the band all the more, seeing how chill and goofy they can be outside of their stage personas. P.S.: The one giving the interview in the strange outfit with the net was Oli, not Flake ;)
