Like he could have decided that taking the chimney off the candle would keep the light duller. Then maybe he decides to start washing his hands afterwards and finally, bends the wick over, for even more limited detection.? Covering the faces could also be a form of shame and guilt. Great episode guys(obviously sad).❤️👏🏻
