Going BIG - New Contour For Giant Scale
Added 2020-01-03 19:45:09 +0000 UTCI love my mountain assets, but the ideal use for them is on a more local scale (probably state/county and closer). My next goal is to find some good realistic contour assets for a massive scale that can cover a nation or continent. So here's what I've been working on today.
I think these, combined with my Topo Mountain assets, would pretty much cover the full scope and allow users to start wide, and keep zooming in making more localized maps with detail.
The map above is more akin to what you'd see viewing the United States on Google Maps. From there you can always "Create Detail Map" in Wonderdraft and use the more detailed Topo Mountain assets.

I’m a wonderdraft user myself and Yeh that looks amazing. I’m doing a global map at the moment and I attempted to use your assets... alas it just didn’t loom right on a global scale. At smaller details I can see they would be amazing but at global heights, it seems to not work well. Hyped for these! :)

2020-01-03 23:25:42 +0000 UTCProbably the problem most of us have with the Mountain assets...make them too small to fit a scale like the map above and they lose all their detail. But I suppose that makes sense considering at the scale above, on Google Maps, you can't even see rivers.
