So another series I got into recently is Steven Universe. From someone who grew up with Rugrats and Angry Beavers and then from then everything on Cartoon Network, it makes me happy that there is still SOME good shows on CN worth watching, and even has some really emotional moments that just drive the show's characters and UUURGHH!! it's good. Garnet is easily my favorite, dry witty humor is the quickest way to my heart~

Anywho, I noticed there weren't really any Topaz gems, if you exclude Jasper I suppose, in the show. Topaz being it's own unique classification made me think royalty so something akin with how Sapphires were regarded except Topaz are said to have Healing properties. So mix in that with a little Alien reasoning and you got a Gem who seems to love even the little things of earth's wonders.

I cheated with the house background, by the time I actually DID the left one I was burnt and really did not elongate this piece more than it had already set me back. but I DID actually do the Left BG by hand, yes I used Refs but I learned a bunch more on how shining effects work so WOO.
