I can't believe it's been over a year since the original Ham, Egg, & Cheese Croissant Bake was posted! So I think we're due for another variation.
So many of you really enjoyed the ham version, so I have been wanting to do another. This time around, I wanted to lower the fat slightly, but as you can see, the fat is still a little high in comparison to many other recipes.
Most of the fat in this recipe comes from the sausage and croissants. If you have a medical need to lower the fat in this recipe, you can use half the sausage, half the croissants, or even divide into 7 or 8 servings instead of 6.
And on the flip side, if you do not have a need to lower the fat, and don't mind it being even higher, you can always use whole eggs, regular pork sausage, or full fat cheese.
Remember, all of my recipes are easily modified to fit YOUR individual preferences and needs.
