Black Pepper Chicken

Before all my spicy food haters start worrying, this one is extremely easy to adjust the heat with. As you can probably guess, the heat in this recipe comes from the black pepper. So if you just want a hint of black pepper taste, without all the heat, just use less than the directions call for.

I really am trying to provide a variety of tastes and flavors for everybody. With that being said, I have one more spicy dish coming soon (Sticky Jalapeno Chicken) and then I'll take a break from the spice and shift focus to more holiday themed foods :)

With that being said, this recipe is SO incredibly tasty and easy to make! So even if you don't like spicy foods, give this one a try (using less black pepper).

I always use the low sodium on any sauces and with chicken broth so each person can adjust after cooking, just a suggestion :)

I don’t know why, but mine came out very salty. I didn’t add any salt to it during cooking because I figured the soy sauce would be enough. Update: family said it was a good meal aside from the saltiness. We will make again with less soy sauce and replace with chicken broth.
